Position: Pre Transplant Coordinator (RN) – Liver
About: Houston Methodist Hospital, located in the Texas Medical Center, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pre-Transplant Coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the transplant process. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing; Four years nursing experience or three years’ Oncology/BMT-specific experience; Previous transplant acute care and/or ICU experience preferred; RN – Registered Nurse – Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days; RN-Temp – Registered Nurse – Temporary State Licensure within 60 days; BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA); demonstrates necessary skills and competencies for the role; proficient in English language for patient and employee safety; effective communication and customer service focus; strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of OPTN/UNOS/NMDP/CIBMTR/FACT policies and listing requirements; familiarity with Microsoft products
