Position: PORTER LINEN SERVICES
About: West Henderson Hospital is a new acute care hospital set to open in late 2024 as part of The Valley Health System, located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway in Las Vegas. The hospital will offer 150 beds, a 37-bay emergency department, surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites, endoscopy suites, cardiac catheterization labs, an electrophysiology lab, an interventional radiology/special procedures lab, and inpatient nursing care units.
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Experience: One (1) year general cleaning experience; Technical Skills: Floor care or cleaning in a specialized area. Knowledge in Floor Stripping and Refinishing, Carpet Extracting, Tile and Grout cleaning. Knowledge in operating Cleaning Equipment that include but not limited to, Ride on-Walk behind Auto Scrubber, Ride on-Walk behind Burnisher, Auto Scrubber/Side by Side, Carpet Extractor. Knowledge in proper Chemical Handling, SDS Competencies. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
