About: Gold Ranch Casino is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining public and employee areas of the casino following specific departmental guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all casino patrons and staff members, contributing to the overall customer experience at Gold Ranch Casino.
Requirements: Education/Experience: 1 year experience working as a Porter within a casino environment preferred; Language Ability: Must be able to communicate effectively in English – speaking and reading; Reasoning Ability: Experience with a variety of chemicals and standard cleaning equipment, ability to work at a steady pace, follow instructions and safety procedures, work well with others, and provide good customer service and employee relations skills; Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally, handle heavy-duty equipment, push and pull heavy equipment, engage in prolonged walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, and kneeling, withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment.
