Position: Porter job
About: ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management company, is seeking a Porter in the Food & Beverage department at the Broward County Convention Center. This position involves assisting in all activities related to food & beverage porter service for facility events to ensure prompt food service.
Requirements: High school degree/GED or equivalent required; at least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment; familiarity with property standard operating procedures, policies, and regulations; ability to work effectively in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to follow directions and adapt to changes in the work environment; fluency in English; physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. to the waist, carry up to 50 lbs., stoop, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks; willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
