Position: Porter I, on-call
About: The Porter I is an essential part of Project Open Hand’s team dedicated to producing meals for seniors and vulnerable neighbors in the Bay Area. This position involves maintaining kitchen cleanliness, handling food equipment, and supporting meal production.
Requirements: A commitment to Project Open Hand’s mission and principles; ability to work in a team; proficiency in English; ability to handle kitchen equipment safely; CA food handling certification; willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays; professional kitchen experience desired; experience in high-volume meal production desirable; bilingual in Spanish or Tagalog a plus
