About: The Family Shelter in Bronx, NY is seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter/Driver to join their team. This position involves maintaining the shelter in excellent condition and providing transportation services to families and staff for various purposes.
Requirements: education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; Valid NYS Driver’s License. experience: Minimum 2 years as Porter/Driver; Experience driving vans and oversized vehicles; Experience reading maps and good knowledge of the NYC highway system. skills & abilities: Conscientious; excellent work ethic; Basic knowledge of health, cleanliness, security, and safety issues; Strong interpersonal skills; Strong time management skills; Willingness to accept feedback and participate in training.
