Position: PORTER-DISWASHER
About: Maintains kitchen and equipment in a sanitary manner acceptable to all regulatory agencies concerned with the operation of the dietetic services department. Assists store room clerk with food and supplies. Washes and sanitizes dishes, trays, lids, bottoms, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils used in the preparation and service of the patient, cafeteria, and special function meals. Removes all trash from kitchen and cafeteria to designated locations along with the cleaning of the floors, walls, and ceilings as a part of a daily routine or as assigned. Transports clean and soiled dishes and trays to and from Sterile Processing and Materials Management.
Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School certificate; Less than 1 year of experience
