Position: Personal Lines Producer
About: Brown & Brown is seeking an experienced Producer for its Personal Lines team in White Plains, NY. This position is responsible for promoting and executing the sale of new and renewal business, providing insurance expertise to customers, and contributing to department growth and profitability by collaborating with teammates and Sales Leadership.
Requirements: Experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in Personal Lines insurance preferred; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with appropriate work experience; Property & Casualty/Personal Lines Insurance license (if not already held, obtain within 30 days of hire); Strong technical knowledge of coverage in all personal lines insurance coverage; 1 year minimum in a production role; Proficient with management operating systems that support insurance sales, tracking, and service; Proficient with Microsoft Tools – Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Routine travel that may require driving a personal or rental vehicle – acceptable Motor Vehicle Record report at hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverage
