Position: PERMIT ASSISTANT
About: Under general supervision and direction from the Manager of Permits and Revenue, the Forest Preserve District of Cook County is seeking a Permit Coordinator to issue permits and memberships, coordinate large-scale special events, and provide excellent customer service. The role involves handling cash transactions, establishing policies, and ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
Requirements: Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or higher, and three (3) or more years of professional experience in a retail, customer service, clerical, or administrative role; Must possess a current, valid driver’s license. OR Must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher, and one (1) or more years of professional experience in a similar role; Must possess a valid driver’s license.
