Position: Peri-Operative Services Nurse Educator – 8k sign-on bonus
About: As a Peri-Operative Services Nurse Educator at a community hospital, you will provide clinical expertise and educational leadership to nursing staff to enhance patient care. The role involves developing and implementing educational programs, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and facilitating collaboration among healthcare teams. With over five years of experience in clinical practice and nursing education, the focus is on fostering excellence in nursing and improving patient outcomes.
Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut; Must hold a BSN from an accredited University; Master’s Degree in Nursing Preferred – matriculation required after one year in position; Basic certification in area of specialty is preferred: Education/Critical Care Nursing; Must have at least five (5) years or more of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, and/or nursing management in an acute care setting; Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Maintains clinical competency for area of assignment
