Position: PEER RECOVERY SPECIALIST CERTIFIED
About: This position is available in the UPC Peer Support department. The role involves coordinating and providing services and resources to individuals/families to promote rehabilitation, recovery, and resiliency. The focus is on identifying strengths to aid in the recovery process and addressing barriers that could hinder independent functioning in the community. The job may involve working with individuals experiencing various mental health and behavioral issues across different age groups.
Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent required; 1 year of directly related experience; CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; Certified Peer Specialist recognized in the State of NM; Valid New Mexico Driver’s License; UNM Vehicle Operator’s Permit within 60 days
