Position: Patient Representative-Otolaryngology-Lakeland
About: The University of Mississippi Medical Center is seeking a Patient Representative for the Ambulatory Otolaryngology Clerical department at their Main Campus in Jackson. The Patient Representative will provide courteous and professional assistance to patients and family members, handling patient information, financial options, and maintaining cash transactions.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; two (2) years of related experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology and insurance claims procedures; proficiency in personal computers and software applications; strong interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to maintain patient records and handle administrative tasks
