Position: Pastry Cook
About: Common Bond Cafe is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastry Cook to join their team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing quality pastry items while working closely with the Pastry Supervisor, assisting in production and maintaining par levels of pastry and desserts with proper rotation of products. The role requires maintaining the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pastry and bakery section at all times.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; Food Handler’s Certification as per local and state health code regulations; ability to work an 8-hour shift standing up; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; experience in a pastry kitchen preferred; knowledge of correct equipment usage and safety practices; strong attention to detail and cleanliness; ability to follow recipes and departmental standards; effective communication skills
