Position: Parts Manager
About: The Parts Manager oversees and manages telephone sales, in-store counter sales, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, shipping and receiving, and parts department employees. The role involves planning, directing, and controlling all activities related to parts and associated costs, focusing on profit objectives and customer satisfaction. Regular communication with factory, customers, and branch personnel is essential to ensure exceptional customer service and product support.
Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certification; 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in parts operations and/or parts sales at the supervisory or management level preferred; safe work habits, customer service oriented, problem solver, reliable, ethical; strong organizational and communication skills, pricing principles and discounting techniques; solid inventory management skills, sales techniques and methodologies, systems and product knowledge, warehouse storage systems and storage layout principles; ability to lift at least 50 lbs, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear; background check, pre-employment drug testing and clean driving record required; neat and clean personal appearance; valid driver’s license and ability to meet Company Driver Policy requirements
