Position: Part – Time Trash Collector – Personal Truck Required – Nights
About: Join Valet Living as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) and enjoy flexible evening hours in your local area. This position offers a perfect opportunity for individuals looking to supplement their income or earn extra money alongside another job. Responsibilities include using a truck to transport trash bags from residents’ doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community, taking required photos using the company’s App, and being assigned to properties within a 10-15 minute drive. The schedule typically involves working 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday, with 2-4 hour shifts starting at 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm. Part-time hours offer 10-15+ hours per week.
Requirements: Minimum age requirement: 18 years old; A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer; Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle; Capable of adapting to work indoors and outdoors; Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs; Able to walk the distance of the property and be exposed to disagreeable odors; Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening; Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app; No prior experience necessary; hands-on, paid training provided from day one
