Position: Part-Time Trash Collector – Personal Truck Required – Nights
About: Join Valet Living as an Apartment Trash Collector (Service Valet) and enjoy the convenience of flexible evening hours in your local area. Whether you’re looking to supplement your income or earn extra money alongside another job, this position offers the perfect opportunity. Responsibilities include using a truck to transport trash bags collected from residents’ doorsteps to the onsite trash compactor at the apartment community, taking required photos using the company’s App, and working close to home serving multiple apartment communities with short driving distances. The schedule typically involves working 5 nights a week from Sunday through Thursday, with shifts lasting 2-4 hours and starting at either 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm. Part-time hours offering 10-15+ hours per week. Safety measures are prioritized, providing Personal Protective Equipment and a dedicated team of occupational health & safety professionals to ensure a secure work environment.
Requirements: Minimum age requirement: 18 years old; A reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer; Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance in your name (or listed as a driver on policy) for your vehicle; Capable of adapting to work both indoors and outdoors, regardless of changing weather conditions; Ability to lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs; Able to walk the distance of the property, and be exposed to disagreeable odors; Capability to climb up and down staircases/steps multiple times throughout the evening; Ownership of a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app; No prior experience is necessary; hands-on, paid training provided from day one.
