Position: Part-Time Store Cashier/Stocker
About: ALDI is looking for Cashiers and Stockers to join their collaborative team environment and enhance the customer shopping experience. As a member of the ALDI team, you’ll be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service on a daily basis.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service; ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards; ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures; excellent verbal communication skills; ability to work both independently and within a team environment; effective time management; knowledge of ALDI products and services; Cashiers must be able to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages; Stockers must be able to operate equipment safely and properly, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler; ALDI Stockers must have morning availability to accommodate store operational responsibilities and be available to work morning shifts with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.
Benefits: Part-Time position, Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week, Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour, Wage Increases: Year 2 – $18.50, Year 3 – $19.00, Year 4 – $19.00, Year 5 – $20.00
