Position: Part Time Servers
About: This position is for a Server at an assisted living facility responsible for serving food and beverages to residents and guests while ensuring their needs are met with a pleasant customer service approach. The role involves maintaining cleanliness in dining areas as per guidelines.
Requirements: Willingness to adhere to assisted living principles in providing services; Ability to perform all position responsibilities adequately; Ability to keep information confidential; Maintaining acceptable attendance record and following work schedule; Displaying cleanliness, good grooming, and following dress requirements consistently; Organizing and utilizing time appropriately, requiring minimal supervision; Displaying mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; Ability/willingness to learn new skills and teach others; Interacting in a professional manner with Residents, public, and co-workers; Ability to do occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and 30 lbs regularly; Adequate and clear English speaking and writing ability; Ability to spend long periods on feet and to ambulate quickly, tolerating extreme temperatures; Being free of non-treated communicable disease; First Aid Certified; Ability to work safely and recognize potentially dangerous situations; Following all policies and procedures; Maintaining neat, accurate, dependable workspaces; Willingness to work longer than an eight-hour shift, work holidays or overtime, and handle a seven-day schedule.
