Position: Part-time Server and Part-time Busser Needed for Upscale Independent Living Community on Ft. Monroe – no late nights!
About: The dining establishment is seeking a dedicated Server to courteously serve resident and guest meals, as well as assist with clean-up and resetting of the dining room after meal service. Responsibilities encompass maintaining knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures, ensuring cleanliness, assisting residents with orders, and upholding service standards for beverages and meals.
Requirements: Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Must be in a clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene; Must be able to read and follow simple instructions; Must possess the ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks; Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles; Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision; Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push, and pull objects; Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three (3) hours at a time; Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet; Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members; Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays
