Position: Part Time/Seasonal Operations & Custodial Teams, Athletics/Lawlor Events
About: The University of Nevada, Lawlor Events Center is seeking applicants for part-time/seasonal crew members for the Operations and Custodial teams. Staff will work for the Athletic department at Lawlor Events Center and will participate in athletic, arts, community, and other events on the University of Nevada, Reno campus. This position is responsible for custodial duties to assist with the cleaning and sanitizing of locker rooms and common areas. Other duties will include post-event clean-ups of the arena area as well as restocking restroom supplies.
Requirements: This position requires walking or standing to a significant degree; pushing and/or pulling; exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; working with and around hazardous building materials containing solvents and cleaning chemicals; increased exposure to germs and exposure to hot and cold temperatures when working outside.
