Position: Part-Time Promotions Coordinator
About: Alpha Media – Dayton, Ohio is seeking a talented part-time Promotions Coordinator for HOT 102.9, 92.1 WROU, 92.9 JACK-FM, 101.5 HANK-FM, and ESPN WING 1410. The ideal candidate has strong character, ambition, experience, success, and heart to help maximize the performance of our station’s talent and help generate revenue via promotions, our digital platforms, and events. Candidates must have a passion for radio – plus – a strong digital background with strengths in website tools and be a powerhouse on all of our social media platforms. The right person understands the interaction between the talent, clients, and audience at live remotes, appearances, and station events. Also needs to be able to facilitate the interaction between sales, programming, and promotions, utilizing sales packages, and helping to bring client ideas to life. This position will be approximately 10 hours per week and must be available nights and weekends.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; excellent written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of all applicable FCC rules and regulations; experience in all GSuite and Microsoft Office programs; proficient in the use of vCreative, vPromo, Aptivada, and Adobe; must be a team player and work well with management and staff at all levels; ability to successfully execute station events and remotes; public speaking skills and ability to interact with listeners and clients in a public setting; excellent problem-solving and prioritizing skills; able to manage scheduling Street Team staff; ability to multi-task and handle pressures and deadlines; be a positive member of a tight-knit team; must be creative and innovative with a strong work ethic; must have a valid driver’s license and fully insured personal vehicle; preference may be given to candidates who have the above experience plus prior Broadcast Industry experience.
