Position: Part Time – Professional Laboratory Assistant – Culinary Department Baking/Pastry
About: Savannah Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Professional Laboratory Technician to assist the Culinary Department. The Professional Laboratory Technician will be responsible for various duties including assisting faculty members with classroom instruction, exams, record-keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance, and other tasks related to instruction, tutoring or mentoring students, performing laboratory research, cleaning labs, obtaining materials needed for classes, assisting in school-sponsored events, fundraisers, and activities related to Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts program, and maintaining inventory organization.
Requirements: Must be ServSafe Manager certified; Must have 2 years of verifiable entry-level experience within the hospitality field
