Position: Part Time Hotel Bartender-Springhill Suites by Marriott Durham/Chapel Hill
About: SpringHill Suites by Marriott Durham/Chapel Hill is offering a part-time bartending opportunity for an energetic individual with previous bartending experience. This role provides a great part-time job in an upbeat atmosphere with growth opportunities. The ideal candidate should be able to work from 4:30 pm – 11:00 pm, and note that the bar is closed on Sunday nights.
Requirements: Previous bartending or training required; Must be 21 years of age; Self-motivated and able to work independently; Strong work ethic and a desire to succeed; Knowledge of the Micros operating system a plus; Working knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor and common drink recipes; Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight is necessary, up to 40 lbs; Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time; Clean background check and reliable transportation a must; Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills
