Position: Park Steward
About: Lower Merion Township is seeking a responsible individual for the position of Park Ranger to ensure the safety and enjoyment of visitors at Township Parks in Ardmore, PA. This role involves enforcing park regulations, monitoring park permits, and maintaining cleanliness and order within the park facilities. The Park Ranger will work under the guidance of the Recreation Program Coordinator, Recreation Supervisor, and the Director of Parks and Recreation.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license; ability to work flexible hours including afternoons, evenings, and weekends; good organizational and communication skills; ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy; physical ability to perform job functions in various weather conditions and lift up to 10 pounds of materials; knowledge of Township regulations and residents
