Position: Operations Coordinator
About: Markey’s, a leading multi-state provider of creative audio-visual services, is seeking a Full-Time Operations Coordinator to join their team in St. Louis. The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling Event Technicians for live, virtual, and hybrid events, managing technical operations, providing leadership, and ensuring smooth coordination between technicians, clients, and project managers. This role includes a balance of hands-on technical work and supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; proven experience in managing a technical team, providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management; strong organizational and time management skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism and a high standard of customer service; experience in scheduling, resource allocation, and managing event logistics; familiarity with Lasso scheduling software and R2 inventory software
