This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included in the posted weekly schedule but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Regular attendance is necessary, and active engagement by picking up and working shifts is required. Communication and ability to work when the business demands it most are critical to success in this role. If offered a position, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. The role of a Guest Advocate involves communicating with guests, solving concerns, and engaging around various offerings and services. Responsibilities include prioritizing guest service, creating a welcoming experience, interacting with guests, promoting benefits, and ensuring a clean work area. The skills needed include effective communication, multitasking, attention to detail, willingness to educate guests, and the ability to work independently or with a team. We are looking for individuals who can handle cash transactions, merchandise efficiently, work flexible hours, engage actively as an On-Demand TM, and remain mobile for varying shift lengths in different job duties.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; experience in customer service or retail environment desired; capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds; ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; active engagement by picking up and working shifts regularly; willingness to respond to contact attempts promptly; capable of working in varying temperatures and humidity; ability to remain mobile for entire shift duration.
