Position: Olbrich Gardens Private Events Coordinator*
About: Olbrich Botanical Gardens is a nationally recognized award-winning botanical garden in Madison, Wisconsin. The gardens feature outdoor spaces showcasing sustainable horticulture and a tropical plant collection in the Bolz Conservatory. The Frautschi Family Learning Center focuses on educational initiatives and private event rentals. The role involves revenue generation through facility rentals and seamless integration of rental services with guest experiences.
Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in customer service policies and procedures, point of sale systems, and proper cash handling procedures; Two (2) years of experience in using computers, facility rental software, and Microsoft Office applications; OR Three (3) years of administrative support experience with significant responsibilities in clerical, administrative, or financial systems; Completion of coursework in a relevant field; Associate’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field. Ability to effectively work with multicultural communities.
