Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cheyenne WY
About: This position is for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA’s disability benefits process. The role involves reviewing medical records electronically, conducting in-person physical exams on Veterans, and documenting exam findings required by the VA. The focus is on Disability Assessments, and there is no involvement in disability determinations or prescription of medication. The position handles Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, with a part-time schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 am to 4 pm. This is an in-person role.
Requirements: Must hold a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license
