Position: NP – Cardiac Diagnostics at Porter
About: AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care, support, and education to patients and their families through all aspects of the cardiac diagnostic process. This role is 100% hospital-based at AdventHealth Porter and requires two years of cardiac NP and cardiac stress testing background. The NP will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating their progress using a multi-disciplinary approach. Key responsibilities include performing various therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, monitoring patients during cardiac testing, implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team for quality patient care.
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Nursing; Associate degree in nursing; 1 year of experience in a clinical or advance practice setting preferred; 2 years cardiac NP and cardiac stress testing background preferred; Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty; Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure; Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse; Basic Life Support; ACLS
