Position: National Sales Manager – Omaha, NE

US Foods is looking for a Sales Leader to supervise, plan, and set objectives for assigned Account Executives and Account Managers, ensuring successful management of customer relationships and driving sales growth. This position may also directly manage a significant piece of business, supporting, developing, and coaching staff as needed. Sales leadership experience within the Hospitality or Healthcare/Acute Care industry is a plus, along with familiarity with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). This role involves leading a small sales team and hunting for new business opportunities.
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred. Minimum of five years of sales and distribution experience required (foodservice industry or related preferred). Experience in restaurant operations is desirable; proficiency in using quantitative and qualitative research data is beneficial. Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills are essential, along with problem-solving and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. Overnight travel may be required for trainings, meetings, or events.
