Position: Motor Pool Manager
About: The University of Oregon Transportation Services Department, established in 2012, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Motor Pool Manager to oversee the university’s motor pool operations. The department aims to provide sustainable transportation and parking solutions to students, employees, and visitors, ensuring safe and efficient travel within the campus.
Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience; 2 years of supervisory experience including team development, planning, disciplinary action, and performance reviews; 1 year of budgeting and expense tracking experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of fleet maintenance practices, vehicle safety standards, and preventive maintenance scheduling; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to obtain required university certifications for vehicle operations
