SRI is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Military Funeral Honors State Coordinators to deliver essential services to military members, Department of the Army civilians, and their Families. The Army National Guard (ARNG) Military Funeral Honors program provides professional and dignified military funeral honors to eligible veterans, ensuring that deceased Service members and their Families receive the respect and support they deserve, especially in geographically dispersed areas where traditional installations may not be accessible for support.
Requirements: Must have military service experience or have supported the military in some capacity; Knowledge of applicable military regulations, policies, and directives related to Military Funeral Honors ceremonies; Familiarity with military drill and ceremonies techniques; Broad-based knowledge in military funerals, personnel procedures, casualty assistance, and understanding of the Army National Guard; Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently; Proficient in planning, organizing, and executing tasks to meet program goals; Strong leadership, communication, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills; Demonstrated proficiency in internet usage, government databases, report preparation, and regulation interpretation; Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Possession of a valid state driver’s license; Ability to communicate effectively in English; High School Degree required, some college preferred; Must be a US Citizen
