Position: Membership & Special Events Manager
About: The Baton Rouge Zoo is seeking a Membership and Special Events Manager to oversee the annual pass program, coordinate signature events, manage social media presence, and supervise sales staff. This position requires a strong background in Mass Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Administration (advertising) or related field; 2 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of membership and events management, public relations, and marketing; excellent administrative and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with media representation and maintain effective relationships with staff and external parties; experience in supervising sales teams and data entry associates.
