Position: Member Services Events & Engagement Manager
About: The Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) has been advocating for the industry since 1922, aiming to create an optimal business environment in the United States for advanced technology companies to manufacture and establish their headquarters efficiently. As the sole statewide association exclusively focused on manufacturers and their partners, the VMA concentrates on legislative and regulatory affairs, workforce development, member services, communications, and business services.
Requirements: Experience in event planning and member engagement is a plus; program management and project management skills; strong communication and consulting abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams; CRM (GrowthZone), ConstantContact, Canva, WebEx; previous experience in Association Services, Customer Care, Event & Hospitality Management (5+ years); minimum of 3 years of continuous employment with the same employer; interpersonal skills including a good speaking voice, being a team player, showing initiative, and being dependable; educational background of an Associates Degree or Professional Certification
