Position: Meetings and Events Coordinator

About: This position is with Vinson & Elkins, responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of operations for all activities in the Conference Centers and events managed by the Conference Services Department.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or related experience; Meeting Professional certification preferred; at least four years of catering and conference or event planning experience; working knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette; experience with facsimile, copy machine, and PC; excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization; ability to lead work teams and work well as a team member
