Position: Medical Receptionist (Onsite)
About: Baptist MedFirst – Stagecoach clinic located in San Marcos, TX is in need of a Medical Receptionist to join their team. The role involves handling daily duties such as prior authorizations, patient check-in/out, scheduling, patient phone calls, insurance verification, and patient-facing tasks. Experience with the Athena EMR system is preferred. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, with bilingualism as a plus. The dress code requires solid colored scrubs, preferably grey. Interviews will be conducted in-person on specific weekdays. The pay rate is $18/hr, non-negotiable.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years experience in a medical office setting; familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Athena; bilingualism is advantageous; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage various tasks efficiently and handle patient interactions with care and professionalism.
