Position: Medical Receptionist
About: SSM Health Physical Therapy – Outpatient Division is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) for their Des Peres, MO location. This is an entry-level position with a starting pay of $17.50 per hour, with opportunities for pay increases based on experience and education. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, including specific hours on each day. The responsibilities include various front office duties such as insurance verification, customer service, data entry, scheduling, billing reconciliation, and communication with medical professionals. Ideal candidates should have experience in office administration, customer service, and the medical field.
Requirements: High school diploma required; basic computer skills including keyboard familiarity, word processing, and office procedures; strong verbal and written communication skills; customer service and interpersonal skills; preferred experience includes one year in a medical office setting with multitasking and knowledge of health insurance.
