Position: Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist
About: One Medical, a primary care solution challenging the industry status quo by providing affordable, accessible, and enjoyable quality care, is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join their team. With a mission to transform healthcare, One Medical offers in-office and 24/7 virtual care services, on-site labs, and various programs for preventive care, chronic care management, and mental health concerns.
Requirements: At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment; graduated from an accredited postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES or completed relevant Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces; possess a Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute; strong customer service skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; a High School Diploma or equivalent; proficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously; experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams; a proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collection process while delivering individualized, human-centered, customer-focused care; a proven track record of persisting through change, consistently stepping up to take action on challenges, and learning quickly and effectively when faced with new situations or tasks
