Position: Meals Coordinator (East Hawaii)
About: HOPE Services Hawaii is seeking a full-time Meals Coordinator to further their mission by providing consistent leadership in the meals programs, managing in-kind food donations, and ensuring a safe and clean kitchen environment for up to 103 meals daily. The role involves collaborating with shelter guests, community partners, and staff in meal preparation and distribution across multiple locations throughout the year.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; at least two years of hands-on professional or community kitchen experience; ability to work independently and as part of a team; comfort driving a van; de-escalation skills; ability to lead diverse groups effectively; strong interpersonal and communication skills; efficient in space organization and time management; creative problem-solving skills; passion for addressing hunger issues
