Position: MDS Nurse Coordinator (RN)- LTC/SNF

The position is for an MDS Nurse Coordinator II (RN) in a Skilled Nursing Facility/LTC in Fairlawn, OH.
Requirements: Current Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio; At least two years’ experience in a long-term care facility; At least one year of experience in MDS; Obtains Infection Preventionist Certification within 6 months of hire; Good physical and mental health; Possesses the necessary dexterity to perform injections, IVs, etc.; Able to lift, push, and pull 35-50 pounds independently, and over 50 pounds with assistance; Possesses the ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles; Walks, stands, and sits intermittently during the day; Must interact effectively with residents, families, and the public on a personal basis; Demonstrates effective communication skills; Ability to manage and supervise nursing staff; Demonstrates evidence of leadership abilities, clinical competence, and interpersonal skills; Knowledgeable of principles of growth and development for the entire life span with the ability to provide care appropriate for adult and geriatric residents.
