Position: Material Planner – Franklin, TN – Hybrid – Multiple Openings
About: The Material Planner will be responsible for the execution of the regional Raw & Packaging Material planning processes at Mars, a purpose-driven company striving to build a better world by delivering industry-leading products. They will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure material supply sufficiency to manufacturing sites and optimize material planning parameters.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management and/or 4+ years Supply Chain work experience; 2+ years of experience in Planning (Materials, Supply, Demand, etc.), Inbound Logistics, or Purchasing/Procurement; Experience using SAP, Advanced Planning Systems, Power BI; Planning-related continuing education or professional certifications (APICS/ASCM – CPIM, CSCP, CLTD; IBF – CPF; LSSGB, etc.); Experience in inventory management or materials planning roles; Planning systems functional knowledge; High level of communication and customer service to build relationships and solve problems
