Position: Material Control Specialist
About: Leidos’ Mid-Atlantic Depot (MAD) located in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Material Control Specialist to support the Chesapeake Depot Facility logistics department. This role involves managing material flow in and out of the warehouse, tracking inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained, collaborating with internal teams and Subcontract Program Managers, and overseeing proper identification, storage, and organization of materials at the facility, including PCard procurement as needed.
Requirements: BA degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or a Masters with less than 2 years of relevant experience; US citizenship required; familiarity with FAA regulations and standards is a plus; strong knowledge of Logistics Management and Planning; excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
