Position: Marketing Events & Travel Manager
About: Our client in the hospitality and tourism industry is seeking a Marketing Events & Travel Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event/travel planning, project management, and leadership, driving and managing the successful delivery of the North American travel portfolio. This role will involve managing a team of 3 and will be a hybrid position, onsite 4 days/week in the downtown Chicago office location.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; 5+ years of experience in travel/event planning and Marketing Operations; highly customer-focused with the ability to instill a customer-first ethos within the team; experience within the travel industry HIGHLY preferred; some experience leading and managing a team preferred; motivated and driven to improve efficiencies, productivity, and operational delivery; able to balance people and performance needs; excellent communication skills
