Position: Marketing Events Coordinator
About: Responsible for leading the planning and execution of corporate and community events for physicians, executives, hospital staff, and the community in conjunction with Marketing, Public Relations, and Business Development departments. The role involves creativity, maintaining community contacts, and strong organization skills to develop strategic community and specialty events. Must have strong problem-solving abilities, anticipate project needs, prioritize work, meet deadlines, work occasional evenings and weekends, and manage various one-time, annual, and ongoing events and sponsorships.
Requirements: Two years of college or equivalent related work experience required; Bachelor’s Degree in PR, marketing, communications, hospitality management, or related field preferred; minimum of five years experience with event planning, group facilitation, volunteerism, and corporate event management; excellent communication, computer, organization, project management, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision; high customer service ethic and quality expectations.
