Position: Marketing and Events Coordinator
About: Sofitel New York, a luxurious hotel located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their dynamic sales team as a Marketing and Events Coordinator. This role involves supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing and Director of Event Sales & Service, providing exceptional service to clients and guests.
Requirements: A minimum of one year experience in a luxury hotel, preferably in NYC, or three years in luxury retail; proficiency in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Delphi, Opera, Social Tables, and Cvent preferred; passion for customer service and attention to detail; exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; second language preferred, French highly desirable; flexibility for occasional weekend and evening events; ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds; union experience a plus
