Position: Manager, Strategic Event Management

About: NIKE, Inc. is seeking a manager to lead the Strategic Events Program (SEP) and Center of Excellence (COE) for the GPS Event capability at their Beaverton, OR location. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing the COE responsible for event strategy, standards, policy, processes, and success metrics globally, along with oversight of the Self-Service Events Program. The ideal candidate must have experience in corporate meetings and events, combining industry best practices with Nike’s needs to optimize the Event program aligning with global strategies.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training; a minimum of eight years in the Events/Hospitality industry; management experience with direct reports; experience in Strategic Meetings Management; familiarity with supplier management across Hospitality Industry categories; demonstrated success in change management; ability to work in a cross-functional environment collaboratively; strong written and verbal communication skills with influence ability; leadership qualities promoting a positive team environment
