Position: Manager, Special Events
About: The Fenway Park Events team, located in Boston, is dedicated to curating exceptional experiences for guests through unique non-baseball events. The team focuses on both private and ticketed live events, aiming to lead in Boston’s hospitality and tourism industry by delivering thoughtful and gracious service in the iconic Fenway Park setting.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; 4-6 years of event management experience in sports and entertainment industries, preferably at a large venue (15,000+ capacity); acute attention to detail, high level of organization, and ability to efficiently multitask; excellent communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, email); proven experience in managing relationships with teammates, clients, and vendors; able to work effectively in team and autonomous settings; willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and travel as needed; prior experience in fast-paced and unstructured environments, preferably in hospitality or event industry; strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and service-focused personality; confident, assertive, and professional influencer; high-energy and creative individual; proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, experience with Salesforce and Social Tables is a plus.
