Position: Manager, Special Events
About: The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is seeking a Manager of Special Events to collaborate with the Director of Events in planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events for NJPAC’s Development Department and Women@NJPAC. This role involves leading the development and production of events that enhance donor involvement, cultivation, and stewardship, including supporting large-scale fundraisers and providing administrative assistance for the Women@NJPAC Board of Trustees. The Manager of Special Events plays a crucial role in NJPAC’s fundraising efforts, overseeing events that generate over $2.8 million annually for the Arts Center.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree; two to three years of event or related work experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and ability to mail merge; experience in Salesforce preferred; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; strong writing and proofreading skills; ability to manage multiple projects with little supervision; marketing/social media skills preferred; design/event production skills; availability to work weekday evening events and weekends
