Position: Manager, Special Events
About: Polar Parks, home to Worcester Red Sox Baseball Club, is seeking a Manager of Special Events to facilitate non-game day private events, coordinate with various departments, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role involves working closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver outstanding events and maximize revenue opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is preferred; 2 years in a hospitality or event services management role is preferred; prior work experience in fast-paced, unstructured environments within the hospitality or event industry desired; excellent interpersonal skills with a service-focused personality; ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and demonstrate strong organizational skills; high commitment to customer service and professionalism; bilingual or multilingual skills a plus; flexibility to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook with Photoshop/social media experience preferred.
