Position: Manager – Sales
About: Wesco International, Inc., a leading provider of business-to-business distribution, logistics services, and supply chain solutions, is seeking a strategic and progressive Manager – Sales to lead sales and profit goals within a region or specific line of business. The position involves designing and recommending sales and marketing programs, managing a single location with up to $50 million in sales revenue, and overseeing a team of direct reports.
Requirements: High school degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred; 3+ years of professional sales experience in a related industry; 1+ year of experience in managing a sales team or sales programs; Working knowledge of business and management principles; Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion, and interpersonal skills; Knowledge of customer service principles and processes; Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility; 5 years of related industry professional sales experience; 2 years of experience managing staff and programs at a national, district, or regional level; Ability to travel up to 25%
