Position: Manager, Marketing Events

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Minimum seven years of experience planning and executing professional corporate events; Proven experience mentoring and managing of at least two seasoned event professionals simultaneously; CMP certification a plus, but not required; Experience working in a professional services marketing environment a plus; Strong knowledge of events strategy and vendor negotiation; Strong budget management and accurate reconciliation skills; Client-service oriented with a diplomatic and collaborative approach; Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality and discretion; Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills required; High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products; Good judgement and accountability for delivering excellent work products; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and oral; Strong critical thinking and analytical skills; Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment, including the ability to prioritize; Confident interaction with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative; Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude is essential; Ability to travel as needed
